You probably already guessed that I am a travel-obsessed millennial. With a home base in Austin, TX, my husband and I have been living a (somewhat) nomadic lifestyle the last few years. It started in 2020, when we worked remotely and lived out of AirBnBs across the western US during the pandemic. It escalated in 2022 when I left my finance job for us to travel the world for a full year.

My travel style sits somewhere in between "type-A spreadsheet goddess" and "spontaneous adventurer." Like everyone, I seek to make the most of my time and money while traveling, and I hate accidentally visiting inauthentic tourist traps or overhyped, "influencer-y"-type places.
